October 11th CASHS Home Football Game - Enhanced Security Guidelines

Dear CASD Families and Community Members,

In a continued effort to improve safety and security, the district will pilot a new weapons detection system at all entrances to the CASHS Trojan stadium for the October 11th home game. This process will be similar to security screenings at airports, courthouses or large public events, where attendees will be briefly scanned for unauthorized items prior to entering the stadium. Any feedback from this trial, positive or negative, would be appreciated.

What to Expect When You Arrive:

  • Have Cell Phones and Keys Ready: Please remove cell phones, keys, airpods and all metal items from your pockets before approaching the entrance.  Have them out and in your hand so they are visible when approaching the entrance.

  • Belt Buckles: You do not need to remove your belt buckles during the screening process.

  • Arrive Early: Please plan to arrive earlier than usual to accommodate the new security procedures and ensure a smooth entry for all attendees.

Items Not Permitted for Entry:

  • Knives or Weapons: For the safety of all attendees, knives, weapons, or any metal objects that could be used as weapons are prohibited inside the stadium.

  • Electronic Cigarettes or Vapes: In accordance with our no-tobacco policy, electronic cigarettes or vapes will not be permitted inside the stadium.

  • Outside Drinks or Food: Outside beverages and food items are not allowed in the stadium. Concessions are available inside for your convenience.

  • Bags: A reminder that no bags will be permitted in the stadium.

If the detection system alerts on an unauthorized item, you will be directed to return it to your vehicle before attempting re-entry.

We appreciate your cooperation as we work to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for our community.  Safety and Security is the number one priority in our school district.
