*As of 2022-2023, this will be my 7th year teaching 8th Grade World Geography at CAMS South

In my classroom, students will learn about a variety of geographical places, map skills, regions, culture, religions, environment, economic status, governments, and events that will provide a better understanding and a  plethora of information about those places in the world, country, state, and local community.

I encourage my students to be active learners, to be engaged and participate in class assignments, activities, project collaborations, and discussions.

Most importantly, I want my students to feel welcomed, safe, know they are cared about, and motivated to always try and make an effort in my classroom. I encourage my students to take risks and feel comfortable knowing that their ideas, opinions, and perspectives matter!!!

    THEY MATTER!!!
