  • Please Note:  Chromebooks are CASD property.  Students are not permitted to decorate their Chromebooks with stickers, gems, or any other forms of decoration.  Removal of the asset tag is not permitted.  

    Experiencing Chromebook Issues?  

    Step 1:  Restart your Chromebook and see if that resolves the issue.  

    Step 2:  Clear your cache if restarting your Chromebook did not fix the problem.

    How to Clear Cache / Cookies / History on Chromebook

    1. Tap the three dots in the top-right corner of the screen, hover over “More Tools” and then select “Clear browsing data…
    2. Check the boxes next to Browsing History, Cookies, and Cached Images and Files
    3. Click Clear Data.

    Instructions for Getting Your Chromebook Ready for School:

    Follow these instructions to ensure your Chromebook is ready for the start of the new school year:  English  Spanish

    Instructions for Damaged or Broken Chromebooks:

    If you are having  problems with your Chromebook or if your Chromebook is broken or damaged, you need to submit a service call.  Service calls can be submitted by either parents or student using Incident IQ.  

    • Click the Incident IQ Remote Ticketing link and fill in all of the required fields. This is the fastest way to get all necessary information to help us serve you!

  • Edgenuity Login Issues or Not Seeing Enrolled Classes 

    For Edgenuity, students should ALWAYS go to the District URL at https://auth.edgenuity.com/Login/SAML/Student/chambersburg to log into Edgenuity. Be sure this is the link that students bookmark and they do NOT login at students.edugenuity.com.  

    WIFI at Home

    Pick a location as close to the wifi router at home to boost the signal strength.  This is a troubleshooting strategy that can work at times, especially when the lag time is due to signal strength from your home router.

    Helpful Hints 

    To underline with your Chromebook, hit Ctrl button and the letter "u" at the same time 

    To copy and paste with your Chromebook, hit Ctrl button and the letter "c" for "copy" or the Ctrl button and the letter "v" for paste.

    Use of Cell Phones

    Please know that Edgenuity courses do not support cell phones.  If you are using a cell phone to do your assignments, the assignments may not be received by your teachers and your logins for attendance may not be recorded. It is necessary to use your school issued Chromebook and not a cell phone so your assignments and attendance are counted.
