I grew up in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania and attended Wilson High School in West Lawn, PA.  In 2003, I graduated from Shippensburg University with a bachelor's degree in English with Secondary Certification, and started teaching English at CASHS a few months later.  In 2008, I earned a masters degree from Shippensburg University in Curriculum and Instruction.  Always having an interest in Family and Consumer Sciences, I obtained teaching certification in FACS, as well. The 2015-16 school year was my first year with the FACS department, and I loved it. I am thrilled to be teaching Culinary I and II, and can't wait to try some new things this school year! 

My husband is an elmentary principal in Chambersburg, and we have three children, who are 6, 4 and 7 months old.  In addition to cooking and baking, some of my interests include reading, running, Zumba, and listening to all kinds of music, especially classic rock.

I am passionate about education, and am always trying to grow as a teacher.  I feel very lucky to have the job that I do!
