• Upon receiving an evaluation request, the case is reviewed by the psychologist.  The psychologist will determine if a permission to evaluate will be issued to the parent/guardian, or if other steps would be more appropriate for meeting the student’s needs.

If a permission to evaluate is issued, the evaluation will begin upon receipt of the signed permission and must be completed within 60 calendar days, excluding days when school is not in session for the summer.

A copy of the completed evaluation will be shared with the parents/guardians.

A team meeting will be convened to discuss the results of the evaluation and to problem solve solutions, which may involve developing an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) if the student is eligible for special education services.
